When you are trying to build a brand new habit, repetition is key! Studies have shown that forming new habits it can take 60 or more days to really make it stick. There is really no magical fix to make it happen sooner, but It's easier to maintain the new habit if it's repeated in a methodical way. That means that setting up a system that reminds you each day to practice the new habit is a crucial part. So try this: whatever your new habit, close your eyes now and do it ten times in your head. Now take a minute and work to imagine how good you’ll feel because you did the right thing to build your new habit. Guess what? You just Innercised. You did mental rehearsals followed by emotionalizing. Congratulations!
